Alison Loo is an artist born and raised on O'ahu, Hawaii. Her tansu and jewelry design bring together Loo's myriad of experiences and training in gemology, jewelry and furniture design, Fine Art, Aikido, and Latin dance.

Loo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She also attended the New York Jewelry Design Institute and completed the Comprehensive Jewelry Training Certificate from Studio Jewelers Ltd. She is a GIA Diamonds Graduate as well as a GIA Applied Jewelry Professional.
